
During his 30 year career, author, historian, and photographer Dennis Adler has written 27 books, 18 of which are on collectible automobiles, and had more than 6,000 articles and photographs published. His articles have appeared in Motor Trend, Road & Track, Automobile, AutoWeek, Forbes, the Los Angeles Times, European Car, the Robb Report, Car Collector, Automobile Quarterly, Popular Mechanics, the DuPont Registry, and The Star, the official publication of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America. Mr. Adler is Editor-in-Chief of Car Collector magazine and a recognized authority on Mercedes-Benz and Duesenberg. His most recent books include The Art of the Automobile–The 100 Greatest Cars; and The Art of the Sports Car–The Greatest Designs of the 20th Century, published by HarperCollins, Porsche – The Road From Zuffenhausen, published by Random House, and Duesenberg, published in 2004 by Krause Publications. His next books, scheduled for release in 2006, are Daimler & Benz -- The Complete History to be published by HarperCollins and Ferrari – The Road From Maranello published by Random House.
